To keep dry flies floating longer, or make them buoyant again after the bite, there are various liquids and powders available. Whether from Orvis, Loon or High'n'Dry, these floatants just work. As an allternative to the synthetics the Amadou patch is recommended.
Non-toxic Split-shots or Loon's Deep Soft Weight help to bring the nymph to the necessary depth quickly.
